花山的旅程開始於2005年的暑假,老闆與老闆娘運用閒暇時間整理小花園,他們決定種植一小片的玫瑰花,熬煮其根莖調理身體,食用數個月後,他們發現玫瑰花朵可以透過簡單日曬後乾燥的方式來當作平日的茶飲飲用,後來也漸漸種出了興趣,所以他們轉而開始種植玫瑰花,日出而作日落而息,那時的玫瑰園小小的。
2008年時,他們看到台灣充斥著有毒的原料、茶葉,就在這時他們靈光一閃決定成立淨園有機玫瑰花農場,當時礙於經濟上的壓力,向政府機關申請有機認證查驗毒素對小農來說是一大筆的經費,他們卻並沒有放棄而閑下來,反而利用時間持續研究自然農法、無毒種植等技術,尋找種植與環境的平衡,而就這樣時間就過了四年。
2012年,他們以淨園玫瑰花茶的名義開始自家販售,過程取得許多朋友的支持,並開始了取得官方有機認證申請的旅程,對他們來說官方認證是給消費者多一層放心,在他們眼中,官方認證的標準是能輕易超過的,理由是他們對於自家花朵的堅持,老闆與老闆娘堅信陽光、空氣、水三樣東西是玫瑰花唯一需要的養分,多出來的都是不好的,這樣的高標準造就現在的堅實基底,他們也希望向社會及相關產業提供有機種植的另一種可能。
2015∼2016年,他們逐項通過了土壤、水質、農藥的檢測,所有檢測皆為零檢出。
2015年,淨園險些關閉,因為這樣的產品並沒有被看見,入不敷出,所以老闆與老闆娘試著創造出屬於淨園的未來,思考著自身的缺失並且尋找讓社會大眾認識淨園有機玫瑰花的機會。
2016年,他們決定創立品牌“花山”,並用自己所發展出的自然農法開發香草茶等其他茶品,興奮的來與支持已久的各位相見。
