Foxsemicon was initially invested by the Hon Hai Group for the purpose of setting foot into the semiconductor and TFT-LCD equipment manufacturing，LED Lighting and LED Display market. Incorporated in April 2001 and headquartered in Hsinchu Science Park Chunan Site, Foxsemicon has been chaired by Koven Tsao. Since then and in order to run a global operations the U.S. and Mainland China footholds were established. Foxsemicon lays the foundation for R&D in high-performance materials and engages in designing, manufacturing and marketing highly integrated system products by application of core technologies in precision processing, complex assembly, cutting edge mecha-electronics integration, and automation. Major applications of the products are for equipment modules and components mainly used in the LED Street Lighting, the LED Display.
